June, Beau, and their wonderful paw-rents..
We had the upmost pleasure and honor of photographing this wonderful little family not long ago while the leaves were still changing and while Senior Tribute Sessions for our furry clients are never easy, June (the blue-staff) and her family made this experience a little less strenuous on our hearts.
These sessions are so incredibly hard to push through, but in the end we are so honored to be able to capture moments that are fleeting in time that the parents to these fur-babies will be able to look back on for years and years to come.
This session was originally set in place for June, solely, but like any little brother.. Beau wanted in on the fun too.
We’d like to share a bit about June, coming straight from her wonderful fur-mama!
"June came into our life as a foster that was pulled on her kill day from a shelter. She was heart worm positive with a really bad upper respiratory infection with extensive lung damage and was determined she was going to not be able to have the heart worm treatment until infection was under control and wasn’t sure if that would happen. She was then considered hospice care and we decided to adopt her so that she had a family. We did numerous treatments and finally her infection was gone and lungs were stable enough for the slow kill treatment. She tested heartworm negative a week before our wedding in September of 2018. She has blossomed into a wonderful dog that has always showed our fosters the ropes. She was diagnosed with a trigeminal tumor in September. We are choosing to make her the most comfortable and let her love her best life until. Despite it all, she loves to cuddle, go on walks, hikes, car rides and Puppachinos!”
Dogs like June are so lucky to find the goodness in humans when finding parents like these two.. and even more importantly, we are luckier when we are able to find a special dog like June who can change our entire world.
And of course… here’s June’s little brother, Beau, trying to steal the show!
This “little” guy was so handsome and has so much amazing potential!
This beautiful girl was so magical to work with and we are so honored that her pawrents wanted us to capture these everlasting memories of their special June.
